MEMOIR PROJECT ROUGH DRAFT

At the age of eight, in 1977, Rome City was a veritable carnival complete with games, thrill rides, and a haunted fun house. The parents were the carnies, and the children played the games, rode the rides, and explored the depths of the fun house. How could I not fall in love with my new home? Rome City loved the children. Rome City enslaved the adults. A perfect fit.
