So Today I Choose to Remember

MEMOIR PROJECT ROUGH DRAFT

I still remember when I want to, and today, I choose to remember. It is probably for the best that I write this down so one day, maybe when I chose to remember nothing of The Way anymore and my childhood drifts into a miasma of old age, ailments, and pain remedies, I’ll have these memories to read to myself and view them as though they happened to someone else: another little boy whisked away from his family by his mother on a quest to save mankind from themselves. And it will be a fascinating read. So today, I choose to remember and to write.
