Jerome, Arizona; The Baghdad Theater in Portland, Oregon; the stripper named Christian at the Candy Shop; Christmas eve; Christmas day; toys on Christmas; not having to call Christmas, Happy Household Holidays, anymore; the comfort and coziness and comfort of sitting in a heated house with the lights off looking at the lit Christmas tree (and sometimes being a little lit myself while doing this); putting the presents under the tree Christmas eve; watching my son open his gifts; spoiling him; Christmas music; the scenery while shopping at Fashion Square Mall; sweaters; hot coco with my wife’s homemade marshmallows; watching Christmas specials with my family; National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation; actually feeling peace, love, and joy around the holidays; getting completely and obscenely wasted on New Year’s Eve; the night Serena and I danced to 100 Dollar Bills over and over on New Year’s Eve; postcards; playing cards; playing a wicked game of Hearts with my friends; levity; good spirits; being smitten by passion; being in control of my emotions when I need to be; falling in love with everyone and everything; hating the world as needed; magic; magicians; sleight of hand; stories about magic and magicians; legerdemain; being redundant once again and being redundant about stating that being redundant is one of my favorite things; the magic of not knowing all the answers to all the wicked and wonderful things in life that make it so wonderful and yet so dangerous and mysterious…
